Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented Controller for an organization located in the GreaterSacramento area! This role will work directly with the CFO to oversee accounting operations across multiple entities including financial reporting, payroll, inventory control, and budgeting while also handling day-to-day bookkeeping. Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Lead full cycle accounting for multiple entities.
• Manage AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and job costing.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and tax-ready documents.
• Oversee inventory tracking and product profitability.
• Help implement financial controls and support compliance.
• Support senior leadership with strategic insights.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years in bookkeeping or controller roles.
• Strong experience with Foundation Software is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of GAAP, job costing, and manufacturing accounting.
• A collaborative mindset with an eye for accuracy and improvement.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is from $140K to $160K, depending on experience.
