Job Details

Are you looking for a challenging role where you can make a direct impact on profitability and operational efficiency? Join our dynamic team as a Plant Controller, where you will be essential in overseeing all financial and accounting activities within our manufacturing facilities, partnering with plant leadership to drive performance and strategic decision-making.

As the Plant Controller, you will lead all accounting and financial functions for the plant, ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational performance analysis. You'll play a critical role in month-end closing activities, maintain cost accounting processes, and oversee inventory accuracy. Your insights will drive operational efficiency and cost performance, supporting leadership in decision-making processes that align with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all accounting and finance functions at the plant.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial results and operational performance.
  • Monitor manufacturing variances (labor, materials, overhead, waste, inventory).
  • Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Maintain and supervise cost accounting processes and standard costs.
  • Analyze production trends, costs, and operations to identify risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Experience in cost accounting, inventory control, and manufacturing variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with finance and operations teams.
