Controller – Well-Established Manufacturing Company

This is a high-visibility Controller opportunity supporting ownership as a trusted strategic and financial advisor. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee cash flow management and cash forecasting
• Manage inventory accounting and cost controls
• Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable and Cash Receipts/Deposits
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries
• Produce timely and accurate financial statements
• Process payroll and administer related reporting
• Manage quarterly estimated tax payments and sales tax filings
• Oversee 401(k) administration
• Lead HR and benefits administration for a small employee population
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain banking relationships
• Conduct and support Workers’ Compensation audits
• Administer credit card programs and reconciliation
• Perform cost accounting within QuickBooks
• Act as primary IT/Systems liaison for coordinating basic tech and systems issues
• Maintain clear communication with CPAs, banks, insurance providers, and vendors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, particularly in a multi‑warehouse and assembly/labor-based manufacturing environment
• Intermediate Excel skills (formula proficiency required)
• Solid background in manufacturing or assembly operations
• QuickBooks experience required
