Controller

A highly respected and growing financial services firm headquartered in Miami is seeking a hands-on, strategic Controller to join its leadership team.

This is a high-impact role offering direct visibility to the CFO and executive leadership, where you’ll play a key part in driving financial performance, strengthening operations, and supporting the company’s continued growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Own and lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and oversee accurate, GAAP-compliant financial statements and reporting
• Manage full-cycle accounting operations (GL, reconciliations, journal entries)
• Partner with the CFO on financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Build and enhance internal controls, processes, and efficiencies
• Serve as a key point of contact with banks and financial institutions
• Lead coordination with external auditors and tax advisors
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Background in financial services, banking, or investment-related environments strongly preferred
• Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting
• Bilingual (Spanish & English) highly preferred
• A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
