Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all aspects of the company’s financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.

2. Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results.

3. Coordinate, prepare, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

4. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.

5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.

6. Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.

7. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

8. Develop and monitor business performance metrics.

9. Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.

10. Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.

11. Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.

12. In conjunction with the CFO, coordinate all audit activity.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional accreditation such as certified public accountant (CPA) is preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the construction industry.

3. Proven experience in construction management.

4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

5. Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.

6. Self-motivated and self-directed.

7. Ability to work closely with a senior management team.

8. Solid understanding of financial management.

9. Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting.

10. Proficiency in accounting software.
