Controller

We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing company seeking a Controller to lead the financial function and partner closely with leadership. This role will focus on improving cost visibility, enhancing reporting, and driving strategic decision-making. The company is looking for a hands-on leader who can bring structure, accuracy, and insight to support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee cost accounting, inventory, and plant financials
• Analyze variances and production performance to drive decision-making
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Lead month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Improve systems, controls, and reporting accuracy
• Partner with operations to align financials with plant activity
• Supervise and develop accounting staff

Qualifications

• CPA required
• 8–12+ years of experience in manufacturing finance/accounting
• Strong cost accounting and inventory experience
• Background working closely with plant or operations teams
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills across finance and operations
