This hands-on leadership role is responsible for the full accounting cycle, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, and supporting strategic initiatives. Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Direct all accounting functions, including general ledger, project accounting, revenue recognition, and month-end close in accordance with GAAP
  • Oversee preparation and delivery of accurate, timely financial statements
  • Evaluate and enhance internal controls; drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Manage external audits, reviews, and corporate tax filings
  • Oversee required annual filings, licenses, registrations, surveys, and property tax reporting
  • Supervise accounts receivable, collections, and accounts payable functions
  • Lead treasury activities, including weekly cash flow forecasting
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business performance
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes

-Partner with executive leadership to develop and mentor a high-performing accounting team

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or senior leadership roles such as Controller or Accounting Manager
  • Experience within architecture or engineering firm experience required
  • CPA or CMA designation is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Experience with multi-entity or multi-office consolidations
