Overview:
Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a Akron, OH client, to help them search and qualify candidates for their Controller position. Our client is looking for an experienced Accounting Controller to report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and oversee all facets of the accounting function across a multi-division organization.
They will be responsible for managing and reviewing core accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.

Primary responsibilities of the job include:
- Supervise Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll activities
- Review and substantiate expenditures and expense reports
- Prepare and post monthly general journal entries
- Manage monthly and year-end tax filings
- Oversee the monthly close process
- Assist with annual audit preparation
- Provide support on additional accounting initiatives as needed
Looking for:
- 5+ Years Accounting Experience
- Bachelors Degree
