Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities.
3. Manage cash flow and forecasting. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
4. Optimize the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.
5. Oversee budgeting and the implementation of budgets so as to monitor progress and present financial metrics both internally and externally.
6. Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
7. Drive the company’s financial planning.
8. Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments.
9. Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.
10. Manage team of financial controllers and financial analysts.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional accreditation such as certified public accountant (CPA) is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success.
3. Solid experience in the manufacturing industry, with expertise in labor analysis, production accounting, and financial modeling.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
6. Ability to strategize and solve problems.
7. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
9. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.

The successful candidate will be a strategic individual with 5-7 years of managerial accounting and financial management experience in a rapidly growing start-up environment. You consider yourself on a CFO career track. You will have experience in a manufacturing environment with a deep understanding of manufacturing accounting. You are a creative problem solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven, and community-oriented.
