Control Panel Fabricator
Job Location: Benicia, California
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $24-$26/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pm
Description of Position:
We are seeking a Control Panel Fabricator to support production and fabrication operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, assembling components, and contributing to the creation of high-quality control panels. You'll be part of a team focused environment where attention to detail, reliability, and quality workmanship are key.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fabricate metal components by drilling and cutting steel using hard and power tools
- Operate a preprogrammed fabrication machine for metal enclosures
- Perform precision measuring using rulers and tape measures
- Receive, count, and properly shelve enclosure deliveries
- Mount electrical components and assemble control panels
- Regularly use hand and power tools for fabrication and assembly
- Lift, move, and position large or heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a well established electronics manufacturer in Benicia, California.
Experience Required:
- Experience using hand tools; fabrication experience preferred
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, team oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to follow instructions, multitask, and meet project deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Previous electrical or wiring experience is a plus but not required
