Job Summary

We are seeking a Contracts and Payments Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide guidance on digital payments and contract execution. This role involves supporting contracts between our organization and external vendors, focusing on efficient execution without extensive reliance on technical teams. This is a part-time role requiring approximately 80 hours per month.

Responsibilities

  • Provide business and technology-informed guidance on digital payments under the direction of the UBOS Third-Party Contracts Lead.
  • Support the execution of agreements with Payment Services Providers (PSPs) related to UBOS.
  • Coordinate contract execution activities across vendors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries.
  • Review and validate contract language related to payment processing and operational responsibilities.
  • Track and support activities related to the procurement and execution of digital payment vendor agreements.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports on vendor agreements.
  • Ensure contract activities align with organizational standards and policies.
  • Develop productive relationships with legal, procurement, technology leadership, vendors, and project sponsors.
  • Document all work associated with this position, including designs, test plans, and best practices.
  • Lead and participate in project team activities for enterprise systems.
  • Utilize various software and technology tools to perform job duties.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in digital payments, contract management, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of payment services, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to manage multiple agreements and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements for payment services and third-party contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with Payment Services Providers is highly desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Additional skills in Enterprise Business Solutions, specifically SAP projects, and ITIL/ITSM practices are beneficial.

Engagement Requirements

  • This position is currently remote but may transition to a hybrid model.
  • The role requires attendance at onsite meetings and post go-live support activities as specified by the organization.
  • All equipment issued must be returned in good condition at the end of the engagement.
  • Compliance with all organizational IT standards and policies is required.
