Job Title: IT Procurement Contracts Manager
Location: 80 Park Plaza, Newark, NJ 07102 (Hybrid)
Hybrid (80 Park Plaza and remote)- need to go in office 2xs per week, possibly more but manager is flexible.
Description
- Driving is required; must have a valid driver's license required
- Manage the development, negotiation, and implementation of technology and telecommunication contracts.
- Handle more large projects for infrastructure, application development, cyber security and operation technology.
- 40% RFP, 40% contract negotiation, 20% sourcing and procurement tasks.
- Must be well-versed in contractual language, know common risks associated with contracts, and negotiate and red-line contracts.
- Customers are residential and commercial. Internal customers are the technology teams and utility lines of business, nuclear generation lines of business.
- Must have experience with information contracts, software and hardware IT services.
- Must have 6+ years of large contract management experience
- BS degree preferred but not required.
- IT or procurement experience a plus!!
- Technology in utilities or telecommunications is a plus!
- SAP, Ariba, and Ironclad are used for contract management
- Possible assignment extension

Responsibilities:
- This position will be responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with purchasing, procurement, and property management.
- The Contract Manager will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, subcontracts, consulting agreements, vendor agreements, teaming agreements, and modifications as well as assisting in the development of related policies, procedures, and templates.
- The Contract Manager will also serve as the property custodian for property under prime contracts.
- The Contract Manager will be expected to regularly handle complex and dynamic issues related to contracts, especially in relation to compliance with federal rules and regulations applicable to contracting with the federal Government.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
Experience Levels:
- Expert: Full knowledge of the function. Demonstrated ability to apply concepts to the functional area and see big picture impact of actions. Typically has approximately 7+ years of experience performing this specific job function and requires very limited managerial oversight/direction.
