Contract Maintenance Technician – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Day Shift)

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading pharmaceutical company who is hiring a Contract Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a 12 hour day shift position that plays a key part in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to restore functionality quickly and accurately
- Monitor system performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements
- Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Respond to operational events and assist in resolving equipment-related issues
- Operate and oversee manufacturing systems as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, including batch records and maintenance logs
- Utilize SAP for work order tracking, completion, and reporting
- Assist with training and coaching team members on equipment and processes
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines
Requirements:
- Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and equipment reliability
- Experience with SAP or similar systems is a plus
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for 12-hour shifts
- Comfortable working with equipment, including in confined spaces or at heights
- Willingness to work in varying environments (temperature changes, noise, etc.)
- Ability to safely operate industrial equipment (training provided if needed)
