As a Maternal-Child Health Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering care to pregnant and laboring women, newborns, children, and families. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation to ensure the highest standards of care are met. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve desired patient outcomes and maintain professional nursing standards.
- Deliver care to pregnant and laboring women, newborns, and families across the continuum of care
- Assist the obstetrician, pediatrician, anesthesia, and healthcare team in patient care tasks
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and hospital staff
- Demonstrate patient-centered behaviors and achieve high accuracy in daily work
- Active NH RN License and BLS certification required
- 2 or more years of Labor and Delivery experience required, including circulating in the OR
- Willingness to work every 3rd weekend
- COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
