As a member of the ICU Float Pool, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients across various units. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining patient safety and providing compassionate support to both patients and their families.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) AHA certification required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
