As a Registered Nurse in the Cardio IC unit, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
• Administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures
• Documenting according to standards of care
• Developing, initiating, and executing a patient plan of care according to individualized needs
• Participating in department or unit performance improvement activities
• Utilizing clinical expertise to support other units/departments
• Applying critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety and experience

Requirements for this role include:

• Current IL License, CPR, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification
• Extensive Cardiac experience required
• ICU experience with willingness to float to Medical Surgical units if needed
• Need 1 year experience in setting
