Content Technician – Disaster Cleaning Specialist

Full-Time | Columbia, SC | $18–$19/hr

Join Rytech Restoration of the Midlands as a Full-Time Content Technician – Disaster Cleaning Specialist, where every day brings new challenges, meaningful work, and the opportunity to make a real impact. You'll work directly with homeowners facing fire damage or water damage emergencies-helping restore their belongings, their comfort, and their peace of mind.

This is a hands-on, onsite role that requires professionalism, integrity, and strong attention to detail. You'll perform essential content restoration tasks including sorting, cleaning, packing, inventory management, and the use of the Encircle system for documentation and workflow management.

WHAT YOU'LL DO (DAY-TO-DAY)

As a Content Technician – Disaster Cleaning Specialist, you will:

• Conduct onsite assessments of affected areas
• Carefully clean, sort, document, and restore salvageable contents
• Utilize Encircle to track and manage customer inventory
• Execute packout and packback processes with accuracy
• Assist on projects involving fire damage, smoke odor removal, and water damage
• Perform insurance claim cleaning tasks with a high level of detail
• Collaborate with a high-performing team to complete restoration projects safely and efficiently
• Maintain professionalism and empathy while working in customers' homes during stressful situations

This position requires consistent focus, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality on every job.

ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT?

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to submit an MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)
• Ability to pass a clean background check and drug screening
• Ability to travel to SC, GA, NC and stay overnight (consecutive nights as needed)
