The Commercial Interiors Superintendent leads on‑site construction activities for interior buildouts, fit‑outs, and renovations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to spec. This role drives day‑to‑day field execution, subcontractor coordination, and quality control while representing the contractor's brand on site.

Description
- Lead all on‑site operations: site logistics, daily planning, sequencing, and workforce coordination.
- Manage and schedule subcontractors, enforce scope, and verify installation quality against drawings/specs.
- Run daily huddles/weekly coordination meetings; maintain the two‑ to six‑week look‑ahead schedule with the PM.
- Implement and enforce site safety (JHAs, toolbox talks, incident reporting) and uphold company QA/QC standards.
- Execute RFIs and support change management; track field conditions and maintain as‑builts and close‑out docs.
- Coordinate inspections, permits, deliveries, and building management requirements in occupied spaces.
- Maintain a clean, organized site and professional client/tenant relations, minimizing disruptions.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve field issues, and escalate critical path impacts early.

Profile
A successful Superintendent should have:
- 5-10+ years as a Superintendent (or Foreman advancing to Supt.) on commercial interior buildouts/renovations.
- Expert in reading construction documents, finish tolerances, millwork, MEP/FP coordination, and punch management.
- Proven track record delivering fast‑paced, high‑finish interiors in occupied buildings with tight timelines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management; calm under pressure and solution‑oriented.
- Solid understanding of safety programs and compliance; OSHA 30 preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Proficient with field tech (Procore/PlanGrid/Bluebeam), schedules (look‑aheads), and daily reporting.
