Our client, a leading air dry cooling systems manufacturer and EPC provider, is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to oversee on-site installation and construction activities for large-scale industrial and power generation projects. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Permanent Construction Site Supervisor for a remote position in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in power plant construction, commissioning, and project management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ASME, B31.3, B31.1 codes, and hold an AWS certification. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position. As a remote supervisor, you will be expected to manage all aspects of the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the construction process, from planning to implementation, ensuring that all projects are carried out according to plan.
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with ASME, B31.3, and B31.1 codes.
- Monitor project progress, manage contract administration, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are strictly adhered to and promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to coordinate and oversee all onsite activities.
- Handle any onsite issues or emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
- Provide leadership and direction to the construction team, fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a construction site supervisor role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of power plant construction and commissioning.
- Familiarity with ASME, B31.3, and B31.1 codes.
- AWS certification is desired.
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully overseeing large-scale construction projects.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work remotely and manage a team from a distance.
- Proficient in the use of project management software and other relevant computer applications.
