MTH Industries is a specialty construction subcontractor serving commercial buildings across the Chicagoland area. Our Building Services team supports ongoing maintenance, repairs, and small construction projects for property managers, building engineers, and commercial clients.

We're looking for a Construction Service Coordinator (Inside Sales) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning customer relationships from quote to close-out. This role blends inside sales, service coordination, scheduling, and cost control and is ideal for someone with experience in construction or building services.

What You'll Do

Inside Sales & Customer Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the service lifecycle

• Prepare and issue service quotes, proposals, and change orders

• Follow up on quotes and active jobs to drive approvals, completion, and repeat business

• Proactively promote company services and identify upsell opportunities

• Maintain strong relationships with property managers, engineers, and internal sales reps

Project Coordination & Service Operations

• Coordinate service jobs from approval through close-out

• Schedule labor, vendors, and materials

• Manage purchasing, cost tracking, and invoicing

• Communicate schedules, delays, and cost impacts clearly to customers and internal teams

• Coordinate with field staff, vendors, and accounting to ensure smooth execution

You'll Be a Great Fit If You Have

• Experience in construction, building services, mechanical, glazing, HVAC, electrical, or similar trades

• Background in inside sales, service coordination, or project support

• Comfort managing multiple jobs and priorities at once

• Experience working with commercial clients, property managers, or building engineers

• Strong follow-up skills and a customer-ownership mindset

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM or estimating software

• Ability to evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate services

• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Construction materials, processes, or blueprint reading experience is a plus

• Degree helpful but not required with relevant experience

This is not an entry-level administrative role. Prior experience in construction or service-based environments is strongly preferred.
