Our client, a global technology company specializing in hyperscale data center development, is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to join their team. As a Construction Safety Manager, you will be part of the Construction & Cost Management organization, supporting General Contractor teams, Project Controls, Safety, Quality, and Environmental stakeholders.The ideal candidate will have strong influencing skills, collaborative leadership, and exceptional communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Construction Safety Manager
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Pay Range: $88 - $96 per hour
What’s the Job?
- Serve as the client’s field-level safety representative on ground-up hyperscale data center projects
- Ensure General Contractors comply with global construction safety policies, permits, and high-risk activity controls
- Conduct daily site safety observations, audits, and reporting with actionable insights
- Participate in Level 1–3 project planning meetings, look-ahead planning, and daily activity briefings
- Coach and influence contractor leadership to foster an “Olympic-level” safety culture without direct authority
What’s Needed?
- 10+ years of construction safety experience in large-scale or complex project environments
- 5+ years in construction safety management and field safety observations/auditing
- Experience managing high-risk activities (LOTO, work at heights, electrical, rigging)
- Preferred certifications: CSP, CHST, or equivalent safety credentials
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, coach, and collaborate across teams
