Role Overview
As Project Superintendent, you’ll manage daily field operations, ensuring safety, schedule, quality, and communication are fully aligned. You will serve as WCG’s on-site leader, coordinating trades, resources, and staff to deliver projects that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution (35%) – Oversee daily jobsite activities, coordinate trades, and ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
Contract & Scope Management (20%) – Interpret drawings, specifications, and workflows to ensure project compliance.
Safety Oversight (20%) – Maintain and enforce all jobsite safety standards.
Planning, Scheduling, Reporting & Communication (15%) – Track field progress, maintain logs, and escalate issues as needed.
Team Development (5%) – Mentor junior field staff and coordinate activities with the Project Manager.
Site Documentation (5%) – Prepare daily reports, JSAs, Toolbox Talks, and other documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field + 5+ years experience, OR 10+ years of progressive construction experience.
- Strong safety awareness and hazard management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contracts.
- Experience managing RFIs, ASIs, submittals, and other field processes.
- Hands-on knowledge of site work, structural systems, finishes, and exterior systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Outlook; experience with Procore, ASTA scheduling software, OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR preferred.
- Excellent leadership, scheduling, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and manual dexterity
- Comfortable working at heights and in varied site conditions
