Position Overview

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from initial kickoff through completion. This role serves as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and ensures alignment between field operations, budgets, and timelines.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all phases of assigned construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout
• Build and maintain project schedules, cost forecasts, and resource plans
• Collaborate with superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain workflow continuity
• Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to ensure compliance
• Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies
• Track job costs, approve invoices, and manage change orders
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs and progress reports
• Conduct routine site visits to verify safety, quality, and schedule adherence

Project Scope & Work Environment

• Projects primarily located in and around Springfield, MO
• Combination of office-based coordination and on-site project oversight
• Regular interaction with clients, inspectors, and subcontractor teams

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing construction projects
• Working knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and construction workflows
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with construction/project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
