Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee custom residential and light commercial construction projects from start to finish. This position is responsible for managing project schedules, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates well with clients and subcontractors, and has experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Manage custom home and light commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections.
- Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
- Monitor project budgets and control costs.
- Communicate regularly with clients, architects, and vendors.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and local building codes.
- Conduct site visits and oversee project progress.
- Resolve jobsite issues quickly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in residential or commercial construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and building processes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience managing subcontractors and jobsite schedules.
- Proficiency with construction management software (Coconstruct, Buildertrend, or similar) is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technology, software, and systems used for project management and documentation.
- Valid driver’s license required.
