Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage automotive dealership construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and cost controls to ensure profitable execution
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents to maintain schedule, safety, and quality standards
- Lead owner, architect, engineer, and subcontractor coordination meetings
- Manage subcontracts, change orders, pay applications, and project reporting
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements, local codes, and permitting agencies
- Drive proactive problem-solving to mitigate risk and avoid delays
- Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business
Project Types:
- Ground-up automotive dealerships
- Dealership expansions and phased renovations
- Active-site construction with tight operational constraints
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Direct experience with automotive dealership projects strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and aggressive schedules
- Strong financial acumen (budgets, buyout, cost forecasting, change management)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to travel as projects require
