Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM Hunt** is seeking a **Construction Project Engineer- MEP/Food Services** to be based in **Jacksonville, FL.** **The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:** + Assist in overseeing activities of construction crafts/trades within an assigned area of responsibility. + Receives continual supervision and direction in the performance of assigned responsibility. + Receives technical and operational direction from the assigned Superintendent or Project Manager. + Assists with the planning and coordination of sub-contractor activities within the area of responsibility. + Monitor’s subcontractor personnel to ensure adherence with project plans and promotes quality control of all installations. + Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by Field Management. + Assists with compliance of the AECOM Hunt safety program that creates a safe and healthy work environment on the jobsite. + Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate including but not limited to updating drawings, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes and other documents as required. + When requested, interfaces with client, architect, and design professionals to ensure compliance to design intent and client satisfaction. + Contribute to building good communications between field management, project management, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and specialty contractors to ensure construction complies with plans, specifications, and company quality standards. + Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity. **CM—AECOM Hunt** Founded in 1944, AECOM Hunt has earned a reputation for being unconditionally client-focused – delivering construction projects on schedule and within budget, no matter the scope. As evidenced by our long list of repeat clients, we focus on specific needs to create strong relationships and consistently exceed expectations. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or similar major, or have demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience supporting large complex projects (stadiums, sports facilities, arenas) + Experience with commercial tenant improvements,ideally restaurant, hospitality. + Working knowledge of commercial MEP systems (kitchen hoods, grease waste, make-up air, electrical loads) + Knowledge of food service-related codes (plumbing / health dept / fire protection) + Can read and coordinate architectural, MEP drawings and equipment layouts. + Able to follow directions and interact with all levels of management on a working construction project. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Bluebeam, AutoCAD/Revit. **Additional Information** + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. + Relocation assistance is not available for this position. + Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
