Construction Project Coordinator - Field Office - Secaucus, NJ

IEW Construction Group is a heavy civil general contractor who is seeking a qualified individual to work in our field construction office in the role of Project Coordinator.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Project Management team providing support in the construction administration of varied, complex projects. The Project Coordinator must maintain the highest professional standards when interacting with all members of the project team including owners' representatives, suppliers, subcontractors and engineers. This position will work between two locations out of our onsite field offices.

Responsibilities:

Verify information, process information and a variety of other forms of documents.

Keep records of tasks, files and reports

Enter information into specific files or forms

Works as a team with other staff to support company objectives

Coordinate and maintain paperwork.

Work on special projects as directed

Create and maintain documents; coding invoices and other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate outstanding capabilities in:

Ability to work independent in a fast-paced team oriented blue collar work environment.

Must be flexible and have the ability to prioritize a diverse workload. This is a must!

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Detail oriented.

Working knowledge of construction a plus

Ability to multi-task

High School graduate or equivalent

2 years working in an administrative support environment

Strong computer skills.
