Description

• • Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs, cost estimates, bid proposals, and pricing breakdowns for commercial retail interior projects.
  • Review drawings, specs, and subcontractor proposals to ensure accuracy, scope coverage, and competitive pricing.
  • Conduct subcontractor outreach, scope reviews, and cost analyses for interiors‑focused trades.
  • Work with the project team on budgeting, value engineering, and preconstruction planning.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of materials, finishes, millwork, fixtures, and retail interiors market pricing.
  • Support bid strategy, presentations, and project handoff once awarded.

Profile

A successful Estimator should have:

• • Experience estimating commercial interiors or retail construction projects (NYC/Brooklyn experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of finishes, millwork, fixtures, MEP coordination, and interior buildout sequencing.
  • Detail‑oriented, analytical, and organized, with excellent follow‑through.
  • Clear communicator who builds strong relationships with subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a growing retail‑focused GC.
