We are a California based litigation firm focused exclusively on construction related disputes. For more than 30 years, our attorneys have defended developers, general contractors, subcontractors, building owners, architects, engineers, manufacturers, and product suppliers in complex construction defect matters.

Our experience spans virtually every phase of construction and nearly every trade. We have handled litigation involving framing, foundations, waterproofing, plumbing, concrete, electrical, mechanical systems, stucco, drywall, grading, roofing, steel, insulation, landscaping, and more.

We also bring significant insurance coverage experience, including analyzing, drafting, and interpreting policies to identify errors and omissions exposure and protect our clients’ interests. Our team regularly represents clients in high exposure HOA and multi party defect litigation across California.

Job Details

What You Will Do
. Defend developers, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and product manufacturers in construction defect litigation
. Manage cases from inception through trial or resolution
. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and dispositive motions
. Take and defend depositions, including expert depositions
. Attend site inspections and collaborate with consultants and technical experts
. Analyze insurance policies and address coverage issues when applicable
. Participate in mediation, settlement conferences, and trial preparation

What We Are Looking For
. Active California Bar license
. Minimum of 2 years of construction defect defense experience
. Strong legal research and writing skills
. Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motion practice
. Ability to manage deadlines and multiple active cases
. Trial experience is a plus but not required

Location
San Diego is preferred, but attorneys licensed in California and located elsewhere in the state are encouraged to apply.
