Job Details

Job Details / Responsibilities:

Develop and execute annual business development goals aligned with the company's overall strategic plan
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in target sectors including entertainment, education, multi-family, and commercial construction
Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, owners, architects, and industry partners
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to win new projects
Collaborate with internal teams on preconstruction, estimating, and project planning to support successful bids
Track market trends, competitor activity, and potential project pipelines to inform strategy
Represent the organization at industry events, networking functions, and pre-bid meetings
Contribute to marketing plans, contract development, and company growth initiatives
Monitor and report on business development performance metrics and pipeline health

Qualifications:

5+ years of progressive experience in business development or sales within the construction industry
Proven track record of successfully winning and growing construction projects or contracts
Strong network and relationships in commercial, education, multi-family, or entertainment sectors preferred
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while taking initiative and driving results
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
