Console Operator

We are seeking a Console Operator to support our client’s security team protecting our client’s critical energy infrastructure that powers millions. As a Console Operator, you’ll serve as the front line of real time security operations inside their state-of-the-art command center.

3 Year Onsite Assignment inCharlotte, NC

What You’ll Do

• Monitor electronic security systems, video surveillance, and intrusion detection
• Triage alarms and assess potential threats
• Control facility access across multiple high security locations
• Support emergency communications and enterprise notifications
• Conduct incident reviews, including video analysis and report documentation

Schedule

• Shifts: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am
• Days vary: night/weekend availability prioritized
• Training on 1st shift for 4–6 weeks
• Overtime, holiday, and shift coverage required

Qualifications

• HS diploma / GED + 1 year of experience in Security Operations Center / 911 dispatch / law enforcement / technical access control experience (AMAG Symmetry)
• Criminal Justice / Criminology degree preferred plus 3- 5 years relevant experience
