As a Concierge and Porter, you'll be the first impression for residents and guests, offering service that’s polished, warm, and reliable. If you love helping people, staying organized, and creating a welcoming atmosphere, this may be the perfect role for you.
Schedule:
Sat, Sun, Mon: 3pm – 11:30pm
Tue, Wed: 11pm to 7:30 am
Days off are Thursday and Friday
What You’ll Do:
Resident & Guest Services
Greet residents and guests with professionalism and warmth
Announce visitors and manage deliveries with care
Keep the lobby calm, clean, and inviting
Support leasing tours and resident events with a polished front desk presence
Conduct lobby checks for lighting, music, scent, and overall atmosphere
Security & Access Control
Monitor building camera systems and logs
Track vendor and contractor activity and follow access procedures
Respond to safety or privacy concerns calmly and appropriately
Package & Amenity Management
Log and organize packages and deliveries using digital tools
Track service requests and amenity bookings
Support the package room and inventory systems
Manage visitor logs and help maintain accurate resident preferences
Move-In & Move-Out Support
Prepare elevators and common areas for scheduled moves
Notify the Resident Manager of unscheduled move-ins/outs
Ensure smooth transitions with clear communication
Leasing & Visitor Assistance
Welcome prospective residents and alert the leasing team
Share branded materials and collect contact information
Maintain a composed and helpful presence
Grounds & Common Areas
Sweep sidewalks, terraces, lobbies, and hallways
Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the building
Respond quickly to spills, weather-related messes, or other safety hazards
Cleaning & Detailing
Clean and polish floors, glass, mirrors, brass, and woodwork
Deep clean as needed (carpet cleaning, grout scrubbing, waxing floors)
Maintain the laundry room, fitness center, and management offices
Report any damage or safety issues to the Resident Manager
Building Maintenance Support
Clean stairwells, service areas, and the compactor room
Change light bulbs and help prepare units for new residents
Use building systems to log tasks and report ongoing issues
Compensation:
$29.7758 / hourly (Full Union Rate)
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited college or university, preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in the hotel, hospitality, and service industries.
- Positive, outgoing, and attentive demeanor.
- Strong oral, listening, organizational skills, and written including proficient word processing and strong computer knowledge including programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to demonstrate a history of proven reliability and consistency.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to work 8 hour shifts
- Must be available to work late at night or early in the morning and overtime when required.
- Must be comfortable working with, and around, large groups of people.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift.
