Position Overview

Join us in the summer of 2026 and help us continue the legacy of fostering creativity, nurturing talent, and celebrating the individual artistic journey at Interlochen. We are seeking efficient and proactive Concessions Shift Leaders who embody our core values and are committed to nurturing young artists, while fully immersing yourself in the unique environment that only a summer camp can offer. As a Concessions Shift Leader, youll play a major role in organizing and effectively leading the Melody Freeze team during assigned shiftswhile fully immersing yourself in the unique environment that only a summer camp can offer.

What You Get To Do

• Will supervise all Concessions employees/all locations
• Assist with scheduling employees on a weekly basis
• Maintain high quality standards in the all Concession locations
• Make sure deposits and cash handling is done on a daily basis
• Fill in as needed in all Concession locations
• Make sure employees have the proper tools and inventory to do their job
• Handle refunds and customer service issues
• Ability to alter schedules as needed due to weather or slow business
• Daily participation in food and drink preparation and other jobs as assigned at Melody Freeze Cafe, Coffee Tent, Grill Tent, or CJs Cafe

This is a seasonal position located in Interlochen, Michigan.Housing is not included for this position, and employees are responsible for arranging their own accommodations.

What You Need

• Availability6/17/2026 - 8/23/2026
• Able to work in an outdoor environment for an extended period.
• Available to work 40 hours per week
• Previous supervision experience is required
• Able to work in small surroundings
• Be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must be able and willing to work nights and weekends, as scheduled
• Must be able and willing to exert fast paced mobility for up to five hours at a time and have good hand and finger dexterity to prepare/serve food and drinks for/to customers
