Summary:
The Computer Operator II position will report directly to the Operations Team Lead and provide direct support to the Command Center team. Candidate will be able to provide support to monitor and perform nightly production batch processing in both the Open Systems and WINTEL Systems using Control-M products. Candidate will also be tasked to monitor several compute and service areas for the data center team. They must be able to perform data center facility walk-throughs multiple times per shift. The operator must also be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Candidate will be required to possess good verbal and written communication skills, be able to perform in pressure situations, and have considerable troubleshooting skills.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Monitors and performs nightly production batch processing using Control-M for Open Systems
  • Monitors and performs nightly production batch processing using Control-M for WINTEL Systems
  • Monitors and performs nightly data protection job processing using Rubrik Cloud portal
  • Monitors the server and network performance and availability using Solar Winds Orion
  • Monitors the data center facilities alerts using SiteScan
  • Monitors the data center security using Genetec Security Center CCTV
  • Monitors the OnBase polling workstations
  • Performs on-call escalation and Incident Response coordination as required
  • Performs campus walk-through multiple times per shift
  • Escorts data center visitors as per required basis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, ie. Word, Excel, Visio
  • ITIL comprehension for Change Request process, Incident Management creation and tracking
 
Education / Experience:
  • High school education and 2+ years of related experience; or technical training
 
Requirements:this is for an on-site 3rd shift position.
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $22.00 - $24.00/hr.  Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select.  Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.  Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
