Position Summary
As part of the Support Desk & Quality Control team, the Compliance Analyst – Electric Operations conducts data research, analysis, logging, and reporting to support Electric Compliance data response strategy and business decision-making. This role plays a critical part in ensuring audit-ready documentation, data accuracy, and compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Electric Compliance data requests are complete, accurate, consistent, and verifiable
  • Perform data request intake, logging, assignment, and tracking within Compliance trackers
  • Actively manage and update databases containing compliance response data
  • Execute Support Desk functions including database quality checks, due-date tracking, and final response production
  • Identify process gaps and data quality issues and recommend corrective solutions
  • Conduct timely and accurate data response research with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Collaborate independently and cross-functionally to improve search and reporting capabilities
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather and exchange information
  • Develop new reports and perform custom/ad-hoc reporting, presenting findings to diverse audiences

Required Skills & Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related role
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and Adobe tools
Preferred
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
  • Experience in auditing, quality assurance, or quality control
  • Regulatory knowledge (CPUC / OEIS experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with Electric Operations processes and practices
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Power Apps
  • Records management, versioning, and SharePoint Online experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort raising data quality concerns
