Kforce's client, a global organization located in Auburn, MA, is seeking an experienced Compensation Manager to support an enterprise-wide job description and compensation database initiative. This is a highly project-focused role responsible for leading job description development, job evaluations, benchmarking, and governance processes across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute a company-wide job description database implementation project
  • Develop, review, and standardize job descriptions across the organization
  • Conduct job evaluations, leveling, grading, and market benchmarking
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders on job content and structure
  • Populate and manage job descriptions within the system of record
  • Establish governance, workflows, and documentation for ongoing job management
  • Ensure data accuracy, reporting, and system integrity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred)
  • CCP, GRP, SHRM-CP, or similar certifications preferred
  • 8+ years of HR and/or Finance experience, including 5+ years in compensation
  • Strong background in job evaluations, market pricing, and compensation surveys
  • Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
  • Experience with HRIS/compensation systems and reporting
  • Proven project management and stakeholder collaboration skills
  • Strong project management skills, including timeline management and stakeholder coordination
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, including strong Excel proficiency (formulas, lookups, data analysis)
  • Experience developing, reviewing, and standardizing job descriptions
  • Ability to partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders on job content and organizational structure
  • Experience working with HRIS and/or compensation systems, including reporting and data navigation
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret job content, compensation data, and organizational needs
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and succeed in a project-based environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with:
  • Job evaluation, job leveling, and job grading expertise
  • Compensation benchmarking and market pricing using major compensation surveys
  • Core compensation program experience (salary structures, offers, related programs)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
