Communications Specialist

Our Client, a Research, Care and Health Financing company, is looking for a Communications Specialist for their Dallas, TX/Remote location.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the communications team and internal partners to create and execute communications strategies to elevate Client’s profile and to spotlight key products and programs in the media.
- Develop communications plans and messaging for our scientific publications and product announcements.
- Partner with the team and Client’s subject matter experts to execute thought leadership strategies that elevate our people, programs, projects and progress.
- Support our executives with speaking engagements by supporting opportunity review and approvals, developing prep documents and materials, and working with cross-functional stakeholders on content reviews.
- Support communication and media relations efforts around key events and meetings.
- Integrate Client’s news and messaging across channels by supporting coordination with social media, internal communications, and website stakeholders.
- Contribute to measurement and metrics to demonstrate impact for the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5+ years of communications experience, with a minimum of 3 years within the life sciences or healthcare industry; minimum of 2 years of agency experience preferred.
- Superb communicator with strong storytelling skills and the ability to translate complex information into a concise narrative for a variety of audiences.
- Strong project management skills, attention to detail, with a proven ability to run multiple projects simultaneously while delivering on the plan.
- Ability to partner across teams and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Naturally self-motivated and comfortable influencing events and people to achieve goals.
- A builder mindset and ability to seamlessly move from high-level strategic thinking to detail-oriented tactical, outcome driven execution.
- Mission-driven with an interest and curiosity in health technology, life sciences and care delivery work.
