We’re seeking a creative, mission-driven Communications Associate to help bring these stories to life. If you’re passionate about using your communication skills to inspire action, amplify voices, and strengthen community connections, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

What You’ll Do
Tell Stories That Matter
• Write and edit compelling content for newsletters, blogs, press releases, and donor communications
• Capture and share powerful testimonials and success stories from residents and program staff
Grow Our Digital Presence
• Help manage and grow social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)
• Create engaging posts and graphics using tools like Canva
• Monitor engagement and recommend strategies to expand reach and impact
Engage & Inspire Donors
• Support email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp
• Assist with donor appeals and stewardship communications
• Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms
Support Public Relations
• Track media coverage and maintain press lists
• Assist with drafting and distributing press releases
Be Part of Community Impact
• Promote volunteer opportunities and community events
• Support donor and community events from planning through execution
Keep Things Running Smoothly
• Provide administrative support to the Development team
• Assist with grant coordination, research, and reporting

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–4 years of experience in communications, marketing, social media, or nonprofit work (preferred)
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Familiarity with Canva, Mailchimp, and social media platforms
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• A genuine passion for community impact and mission-driven work

Salary: $48,000 – $50,000
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
