Responsibilities:
- Designs, implements and administers commodity acquisition strategy.
- Includes procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing and product availability.
- Develops negotiation strategies to create a \\win-win\\ relationship between the company and suppliers.
- Assists in identifying new, high potential suppliers.
- Interacts daily with peers and customers (typically internal) to exchange or present factual information.
- Builds stable working relationships internally.
- Works on issues of limited scope.
- Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
- Receives predetermined assignments subject to moderate level of control and review.
- Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
Requirements:
- Typically requires no previous professional experience.
- Learning to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
