Currently, we are looking for a Commercial Loan Administration Specialist for our credit union client, responsible for performing a variety of commercial loan and deposit duties within their Business Financial Services Department. The Commercial Loan Administration Specialist is responsible for below specific duties.

Your specific duties will include:

Loans
  • Collaborate directly with commercial lending staff throughout the loan origination, approval, and closing processes.
  • Order and track required documentation for loan approvals, including appraisals, title policies, and environmental reports.
  • Perform necessary account file maintenance and process transfers, payments, and loan payoffs for businesses transactions, including participations purchase and sold loans on the core system.
  • Perform account file maintenance and process business-related transactions such as transfers, payments, and loan payoffs, including participation loans (purchased and sold) within the core system.
  • Creates, maintains, organizes, and updates collateral, credit, and appraisal files.
  • Support commercial lending staff on maintaining lending pipeline.
  • Assist with initial loan inquiries and gather required documentation from applicants.
  • Manage delinquency reports and contact member when appropriate.
  • Obtain and verify all loan-related documents, including title documents and loan payoffs.
  • Accurately compile, input, and validate all monetary data necessary to execute and document loans.
  • Review loan authorization requests and all attachments to determine documents required to produce the loan according to CU underwriting guidelines, policies, and regulations.

Deposits

  • Maintain a working knowledge of business deposit account functions, systems, and documentation. 
  • Works directly with applicant to collect documentation to open membership, deposit accounts and update core system as applicable.
  • Develop and refine procedures, checklists, and process flows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Responsible for managing mail, emails, applicant deposit inquires and online requests.
  • Review approved loan requests/documents and board loan on core system.
  • Develop and maintain procedures, checklists, and tracking systems to manage loan covenants and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and follow up on loan covenants to ensure ongoing member compliance with loan terms.
  • Recommend products and services to business members and individual members, assist commercial lending officers with basic front-end sales efforts.
  • Research and resolve loan-related inquiries from members and internal departments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of business and commercial lending policies, procedures, and operational tasks.
  • Responsible for managing applicant loan inquiries and online requests.
  • Responsible for vendor payments and invoice processing related to loan services.

Required qualifications for the position include:

    • 5 Years Business lending experience 
    • A high school diploma or equivalent.
    Pay Rate Range: $60,000-$75,000 annually

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
