Alera Group is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. We’re seeking motivated, relationship-driven professionals who bring both experience and enthusiasm to their work.

This role supports a small-to-mid market book of business and is part of a team that is evolving its structure to better support growth, training, and long-term development. Responsibilities:

Client Management & Service
• Manage and service a commercial lines book of business (small-to-mid market accounts)
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Support renewals, policy changes, and ongoing account needs
• Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth client experience

 

Operational & Team Support
• Maintain accurate documentation and account records
• Work closely with producers and service teams to support client needs
• Stay organized and manage multiple accounts and priorities

 

Growth & Opportunity
• Identify cross-sell and new business opportunities when appropriate
• Continue developing knowledge of insurance products and client strategies

Qualifications:

Required
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Strong communication skills

 

Preferred (Not Required)
• Insurance experience or exposure to commercial lines
• Active Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)

Additional Information:

Compensation

$60,000 – $80,000 annually, based on experience
Additional earning potential through commission and bonus opportunities
