We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Foreclosure/Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The candidate will play an instrumental role in delivering top-tier legal services to our clients while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle all aspects of commercial foreclosure litigation including court appearances, discovery, motions, and trials.
2. Represent lenders, investors, and other financial institutions in a broad range of commercial foreclosure matters.
3. Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of issues related to commercial foreclosure and litigation.
4. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
5. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on commercial foreclosure matters.
6. Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve successful resolution of cases.
7. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting the commercial foreclosure and litigation field.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in NY and in good standing.
3. 3 - 5 years of experience in commercial foreclosure litigation.
4. Proven track record of handling complex commercial foreclosure cases on the lender side.
5. Strong knowledge of foreclosure laws, procedures, and practices.
6. Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
7. Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
10. Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professional integrity.
11. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
