Job Details

We are a growing commercial fire protection contractor specializing in sprinkler system installation and service for commercial buildings. Our work includes large installation projects tied to new construction as well as retrofit, modification, and service work for existing facilities.

Recently, the company joined a larger fire protection platform backed by private equity. This partnership provides long-term stability, stronger benefits, and additional resources to grow the business while maintaining the company’s employee-first culture.

The organization operates with a strong field-driven mindset. Many of the team members come from the trades and bring decades of hands-on experience installing life safety systems. As the business continues to grow, the company is building additional crews and expanding its service division.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Sprinkler Fitter to join our installation team. This role focuses on installing and modifying fire sprinkler systems in commercial environments, working closely with foremen and helpers to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Install and modify commercial fire sprinkler systems in new and existing buildings
  • Install risers, mains, branch lines, and related system components
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Follow NFPA-13 standards and job site safety procedures
  • Operate installation equipment including threading machines, roll groovers, drills, and pipe tools
  • Assist with layout, preparation, and troubleshooting of sprinkler systems
  • Work with foremen and helpers to complete projects efficiently
  • Follow lock-out/tag-out and PPE requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial fire sprinkler installation experience
  • Knowledge of NFPA-13 standards
  • Ability to read construction drawings and technical documentation
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • OSHA-10 preferred
