Spratlin Electric is seeking an experienced, hands-on Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead field operations on commercial projects throughout the Columbia, SC area. This role is ideal for a confident leader who excels in the field, takes pride in precision workmanship, and knows how to motivate teams while keeping projects safe, efficient, and code-compliant.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and supervise electricians and apprentices on active commercial job sites
• Coordinate daily field operations across multiple commercial projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
• Oversee all electrical installations, including conduit bending, panel installations, switchgear, transformers, lighting systems, and power distribution
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a safe jobsite
• Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and inspectors to keep projects on schedule
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective field solutions

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction
• 2+ years in a foreman, lead, or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Proven experience with wiring, lighting systems, panels, and electrical distribution equipment
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide crews and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• South Carolina Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
