Position Description:

Northeastern Junior College is seeking applications for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Instructor who will serve as a classroom and practical instructor. Using college equipment and that provided through various Memorandum's of Understanding, the CDL Manager will provide courses for experienced and non-experienced drivers that include classroom and practical instruction on simulators and in vehicles. The courses will include the rigor necessary to prepare students to successfully pass licensing exams.

What You Will Need:

• Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (School Bus and Passenger Endorsements encouraged)
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with a CDL
• Teaching or training experience in education or industry
• Knowledge/experience with computer technology, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of settings
• Refined presentation and facilitation skills

What We Can Offer:

This is a part-time instructor position with an hourly rate of $70, depending on qualifications and experience. Position will begin as soon as a qualified candidate is identified.
