Job Details

We are looking for a highly independent leader to own and build our commercial driver dispatching and DOT compliance function. This role goes far beyond day‑to‑day dispatch — it will quickly evolve into a stand‑alone leadership position, running its own operation with full accountability.

You’ll manage daily fleet dispatch while ensuring full compliance with TxDOT, DOT, and FMCSA regulations, and you’ll help set up, structure, and scale the operation from a regulatory and business standpoint.

What You’ll Own:

  • End‑to‑end driver dispatch and fleet coordination
  • Full TxDOT, DOT, and FMCSA compliance, including audits and inspections
  • Driver qualification files, onboarding, and compliance training
  • Accident reporting, regulatory documentation, and renewals
  • Building and maintaining systems, processes, and controls for long‑term growth

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in commercial dispatch, fleet operations, or DOT compliance
  • Strong working knowledge of FMCSA regulations, TxDOT, CDL requirements
  • Experience with MCS‑150 filings, applying for DOT numbers, and compliance setup
  • Understanding of P&L, business operations, and running an independent function
  • A true self‑starter who can operate with minimal oversight and make decisions
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Why This Role Is Different:

This position is expected to grow into a major leadership role, operating independently from other divisions. Ideal for someone who has run their own company, built a consortium, or managed compliance and dispatch at scale and is ready to take ownership.
