As Account Resolution Specialist your primary responsibility will be outbound contact for payment reminders to members. Confers with member by telephone in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of sales, service, or credit contract with member. Records information about financial status of member and status of collection efforts. Mailing letters to our members to encourage payment of delinquent accounts, calling members to help determine the reason for an overdue payment, reviews terms of loan with them, servicing their account, or create a credit contract with their account, receives payments from members and post it to their account to update status, order repossession or turn over accounts to an attorney, review reports to ensure delinquency is caught early and follow up with members quickly and consistently, reviews loan files for pertinent information, assists attorney or collection agency as needed, answers member questions on payments made to delinquent accounts, acts as a source of information to other employees, resolve conflicts and confrontations with difficult delinquency situations and members reactions, skip-tracing knowledge to locate member for collection efforts, and other duties as assigned.

This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, a positive attitude, and attention to detail and accuracy. A minimum of an Associates degree or equivalent, six months to one year related experience, or a combination of education and experience previous experience in real estate and/or auto collections preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required.  Credit union experience preferred; but not required.

Candidates must be available to work Monday through Thursday 9am - 5:30pm and Friday from 9:30am - 6pm.
