What You’ll Do

  • Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls related to delinquent accounts and general service inquiries.
  • Manage collections activities — negotiate payment arrangements, resolve billing/credit issues, and follow up on past-due accounts.
  • Adhere to call scripts and compliance guidelines while maintaining professionalism.
  • Ensure one-call resolution whenever possible, offering solutions and alternatives to customers.
  • Assist with overflow customer service calls during peak volume.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics.
  • Build positive customer relationships by demonstrating empathy, patience, and problem-solving.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in collections, loan servicing, or customer service (auto finance, credit union, or banking industry preferred).
  • Proven ability to handle delinquent accounts/payment-related queries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and active listening skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Genesys, Five9, or similar).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus.
