Barista Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take food and drink orders.

• Maintain and clean espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment; troubleshoot and schedule repairs as needed.

• Beverage Preparation: Follow established recipes to prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees and teas. Ensure consistency and quality in every drink served.
• Food Service: Serve a selection of cafe food items, including pastries, sandwiches, and baked goods, ensuring they are presented attractively.
• Payment Processing: Efficiently receive and process payments through cash, debit, and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy in all financial dealings.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the bar and food preparation spaces. Regularly check and restock clean mugs, plates, and other necessary items.
• Equipment Maintenance: Monitor the operation of espresso and brewing equipment, promptly reporting any maintenance or repair needs to ensure optimal functionality.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both customers and staff.
