Weekend Lead/Supervisor Coating Machine Operator
Full-Time | 3-Day Work Week, 6am - 6pm | Shift is 36 hours Paid for 40 Hours

We are seeking a mechanically inclined Coating Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position operates on a weekend schedule and includes leadership responsibilities overseeing a small team of 3–6 employees.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with machine operation experience who are looking to grow into a lead role.

Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday
6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Work 36 hours, paid for 40 hours
15% shift differential
Pay Rate:  $33/hr. - $36/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor coating machines and related equipment
  • Review work orders, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate setup
  • Verify materials meet specifications prior to processing
  • Troubleshoot machine and production issues
  • Perform quality checks according to ISO inspection/testing standards
  • Measure materials and finished products (including measuring to 1/32”)
  • Accurately record production data including lot numbers, scrap, downtime, and output
  • Load and unload materials using forklift, hoist, or other lifting equipment
  • Perform minor machine maintenance
  • Maintain shift logs and process documentation
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean work environment
  • Lead and support a small production team
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Machine operation experience required
  • Coating experience is a plus
  • Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting ability
  • Basic math skills and ability to convert units of measure (SF, YDS, LF, MSI, etc.)
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on weekends
  • Forklift experience preferred
